Woodwind
Woodwind Department
The Woodwind Department offers the opportunity for children and young people, to receive tuition in a wide range of Woodwind instruments. We have a team of peripatetic Woodwind teachers working in both Primary and Secondary schools. This provision gives children access to tuition on Woodwind instruments and it also provides support to the teaching staff in each school. We have a team of specialist Woodwind teachers who work at the City of Belfast School of Music in the evenings and weekends delivering individual lessons and group tuition. Our Woodwind students enjoy opportunities to rehearse together in various bands and orchestras, performing throughout the year in a range of venues both home and abroad.
