Summer Holidays

Teaching staff will be on holiday from Wednesday 1 July until Monday 24 August.

Dr McKee will be on leave throughout July, but will be available

by email (see below) from Monday 3 August. 

IMPRESSIVE NEW PREMISES @ BT15

The City of Belfast School of Music is planning to re-locate over the summer months to the site currently occupied by Castle High School on Fortwilliam Park, Belfast BT15. 

BELB is conducting an equality exercise to assess possible impacts of this move in relation to our students and staff.

Full details of the proposed move will be communicated to all involved in due course.  

Catherine Judge Memorial Award

Congratulations to EMMA KING , an advanced percussion student at CBSM with Ruth Ripoll and Michael Smyth, who has won the 2009 CJMA.  The award carries a cash prize of £5000. Previous winners from CBSM are Sarah Brown (clarinet with Gillian McCutcheon) and David Sloan (cello with Morag Stewart).  Well done!!
